Tried channeling your inner Van Gough to no avail? Maybe your palate is too dry! The City of San José's Department of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services has partnered with the Youth Connections Foundation to continue our Wine & Painting in the Park series this summer in Plaza de Cesar Chavez!
The first fifty (50) Picassos to reserve a seat will be given an artist's station including an easel, paintbrush set, acrylic paint, and one (1) free canvas. While this event is free and open to the public, we're only able to offer materials to those who register in advance - so don't miss this opportunity, as tickets will sell quickly!
The evening will include a wine garden featuring a local winery (TBA) that opens at 5pm. We offer a free painting class led by our in-house art instructor (times for art classes are indicated on your ticket, and change from event to event based on sunset times). Additional activities include:
- Live classical guitar
- Be the Change's Zen Den with kids yoga
- Kid's finger-painting section
- Food & Desert trucks
- It's Happening! games (corn hole, Jenga, Kubb, etc.)
While art materials are free to registered guests, wine is available for purchase for anyone 21+ years (please bring a valid ID).
