Leigh Avenue Safety Improvement Project Community Meeting

Join the Department of Transportation (DOT) to learn more about safety improvements for Leigh Avenue between Southwest Expressway and Hamilton Avenue. In fall 2023, DOT will:

  • Repair the pavement
  • Repaint the crosswalks
  • Add a center turn lane
  • Add a painted median
  • Add approximately 40 new on-street parking spaces
  • Add bike lanes

One travel lane in each direction will be removed in order to complete this project.
