Meeting Purpose:  To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located in the Willow St. Neighborhood Business District (Calle Willow). Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

Proposed project: A City-initiated General Plan Amendment to change the Envision San José General Plan land use designation of 35 parcels from Mixed Use Commercial to Neighborhood/Community Commercial, 17 parcels from Mixed Use Commercial to Mixed Use Neighborhood, 2 parcels from Mixed Use Commercial to Residential Neighborhood, and 2 parcels from Mixed Use Commercial to Open Space, Parkland, and Habitat within or adjacent to the Willow St. Neighborhood Business District (Calle Willow) on a total 8.99-gross-acre site.
