Meeting Purpose: To describe the proposed project, the environmental review and planning process, and obtain community input on the project and issues to be discussed in the Environmental documents.

Project Location:  Northeast corner of Hemlock Ave and S Baywood Ave (2881 Hemlock Ave, 376 & 384 S Baywood Ave)

Proposed Project:

  • Special Use Permit Amendment (File No. SP23-001) to allow the demolition of 3 existing buildings totaling approximately 8,646 square feet, the removal of 15 trees, and the construction of a 6-story, 166,570-square-foot mixed-use building consisting of 18,825 square feet of ground floor commercial space, 75 multifamily dwelling units from Level 2 to Level 6 and two levels of underground parking, and to allow commercial condominium on a 0.61-acre site.  
  • Vesting Tentative Map (File No. T23-002) to merge three lots into one lot for up to 8 commercial condominium units and up to 75 multi-family residential condominium units on a 0.61-acre site.
