The City of San Jose’s Housing Department is applying for the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) grant and we invite members of the public to review the application and provide comment. The application in its entirety is available at on our HUD PRICE application page. The public comment period is open from June 21, 2024 through July 7, 2024.  

The purpose of the HUD PRICE grant is to support the preservation and revitalization of manufactured housing and eligible manufactured housing communities and supports communities in their efforts to maintain, protect, and stabilize manufactured housing and manufactured housing communities.   

The Housing Department is applying to support the current mobilehome repair program and electrification improvements so that mobilehomes remain a high-quality housing option for lower moderate income households in the City.
