Applications are now open for the Housing and Community Development (HCDC) for seats in District 4, District 9, and City Wide (Mayor).  The Commission is also seeking an applicant who is an Apartment Rental Ordinance (ARO) tenant. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with first review on September 30, 2024. 

The Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC) consists of 14 members who advise the Director of Housing, the Mayor, and the City Council on housing and community development policy and funding priorities. 

Applicants must be a San Jose resident. Individuals from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.  

HCDC meets every second Thursday of each month at 5:45pm.
