The Friends of Watson Park and Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services are hosting a community meeting to provide updates regarding Watson Park. This meeting will be held at Joyce Ellington Branch Library. Goodland Landscape Construction will begin flooding damage repair on the soccer fields, the bio-swales and upper turf area, which is scheduled for completion in mid-November. Improvements to the dog park, basketball court drainage and the play area shade structure, with security lighting, will begin in 2019.
