DOG PARK RULES:
- Dogs must be accompanied at all times
- No more than two dogs per person are allowed at one time
- Children are only permitted in the dog park when accompanied by a guardian
- Owners are responsible for picking up after their dog
- All dogs must wear proof of license and have proper vaccinations
- Dogs in heat are not permitted in the park
- Dogs exhibiting bad or aggressive behavior will be required to leave the park

Butcher Dog Park

Butcher Dog Park is located in Butcher Park at Camden Avenue and Lancaster Drive, on the Camden Street side. Butcher is one the most popular dog parks drawing visitors from all over the Bay Area.
The park is noted for its lively and dedicated patrons who work together with park staff to keep Butcher Dog Park at its best.
Discovery Dog Park

Delmas Dog Park, located on the corner of Park Avenue and Delmas Avenue, is a free-standing park. The park measures just over 17,000 square feet and includes many dog-friendly amenities:
- A completely fenced and double-gated entrance
- Decomposed granite walking path with bark-mulch dog area
- Drinking fountains with dog bowls
- Mutt mitts
- Plenty of security lighting
- Tables and benches
Delmas was a joint venture between the City of San José and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA); it offers a safe space for the neighborhood and its four-legged residents.
jeffrey Fontana Dog Park

Fontana Dog Park is located at Golden Oak Way and Paseo Pueblo Drive opened September 17, 2005.
Miyuki dog park

Miyuki San Jose’s first dog park is located at the end of Miyuki Drive off Santa Teresa Boulevard. This small dirt area is fenced with a double-gated entry and includes a bench for owners to sit and enjoy their dogs at play. Miyuki also features a pooper-scooper dispenser for your convenience.
Be sure to bring water for your dog, as there are no fountains available.
Raleigh Linear dog park

Raleigh Linear Dog Park is located in Raleigh Linear Park (a 5.4 acre park) at the end of Raleigh Road south west of Charlotte Road. The fenced dog park has dissolved granite and artificial turf surfaces, includes a four seat table and two benches.
As this park was a turnkey development project the park was “built out” per the turnkey park development requirements and no further development is planned for. There is one double swing gate at the facility; however, one side is typically locked and opened only for maintenance use.
Ryland Dog Park

Ryland Dog Park located at North San Pedro Street and North Market Street tucked beneath the bridge. It’s a cool area spot on hot days. Be sure to bring water for your dog, as there are no fountains available.
Saratoga Creek dog park

Saratoga Creek is located at Doyle Road and Lassen Avenue and includes a drinking fountain, benches, and artificial turf surfacing.
SELMA OLINDER DOG PARK

Selma Olinder is located within Selma Olinder Park, 18th Street and East William Street, on a three-quarter-acre site at the south end of the park. It is designed to accommodate 20 to 30 dogs at one time and the surfacing consists mainly of wood chips and decomposed granite.
Selma Olinder’s pet-friendly amenities include a double-gated entry, separate large and small dog areas, fencing, and benches, fitting within the guidelines of the City’s Greenprint for Parks and Community Facilities and Programs. Mature trees provide valuable shade for both dogs and their owners. The dog park also includes 11 new parking spaces specifically for dog park users.
St. James Dog Park

St. James Dog Park is located on the eastern half of St. James Park, adjacent to a children’s play area.
Tully dog park

Located on the southwest corner of the Tully Community Ballfields adjacent to the Coyote Creek Trail, the half-acre dog park has areas for small and large dogs.
Watson Dog Park

Welch Dog Park

Welch Dog Park's pet-friendly amenities include a double-gated entry, separate large and small dog areas, pet drinking fountain, and benches.
Other Off Leash Locations
Hellyer County Park is located in south San Jose, has set aside two acres inside the park as an off-leash area for dogs. This designated “dog park” can be found at the northeast end or Hellyer Park, near the Shadowbluff group area. This two-acre area is enclosed with a six-foot fence. Benches, shade trees, a lawn, and a drinking fountain are available. Use of the area is free, but a vehicle entrance fee is collected when you enter the park.
