The Los Alamitos Creek Trail is located in south San José, along the southwestern side of the Santa Teresa Foothills.

Description

The trail runs along the creek from Los Alamitos Park and Lake Almaden south to McKean Road. The trail offers a semi-rural setting, passing through Pfeiffer Park. From Almaden Park past Winfield Blvd, the trail runs along the east side of the creek, passing under Mazzone Drive and continues on about a mile to Pfeiffer Park. There is a bridge at Pfeiffer Park across the creek to Camden Ave and Mt Forest Drive. From there, the trail continues on the west bank to across Graystone Lane to Camden Ave and Queenswood Way. Between Camden Avenue and McKean Road, there are trails on both sides of the creek. This trail has street crossings at Graystone Lane and Camden Ave.
