RENTAL ASSISTANCE FUND PAUSING APPLICATIONS: The $11M Rental Assistance Fund, launched with Destination: Home on Monday, March 23, is pausing its acceptance of new applications until further notice. The fund has already received 4,400 applications, representing financial need that exceeds the fund’s capacity. To learn more about the fund and contribute, visit SiliconValleyStrong.org.

- Help Keep San José Parks Open: It’s up to everyone to abide by County of Santa Clara and State of California orders to shelter in place and keep six feet of distance between themselves and others. Our Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Department has created this public service announcement to explain how you can still exercise without endangering your neighbors at local parks and trails. Beginning today, Alum Rock Park and the Communications Hill stairs are closed to the public, following concerns about serious overcrowding.
