Creating Connection

Creating Connection is designed to make arts and culture a recognized, value, and expected part of our daily lives. The initiative, led by Arts Midwest and Metropolitan Group, began with an extensive research phase in 2014, and included a national survey augmented by research in four locations: San Jose, California; Michigan; Minnesota; and Oregon. #408Creates is social media campaign celebrating the range of creative of expression that happens everyday in San Jose. This campaign compliments the San Jose Creates and Connects initiative of the San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs. San Jose Creates and Connects programming seeks to connect San Jose residents across communities and within neighborhoods through creative, participatory experiences.
