• Cultural Connection is the ten-year community cultural plan for the cultural development in San Jose approved by City Council On February 1, 2011.

• Cultural Connection provides for the City and community partners to realign resources with new priorities, partner more effectively, and galvanize leadership around cultural goals that reinforce one another.

• Cultural Connections also informs the update of the City’s General Plan Envision San Jose 2040, placing arts and cultural in the larger context of the City’s overall plan for its future growth and development.
