Home composting workshops cover what can be composted, the different composting methods, and what to do with finished compost. The classes are free. 

Water Efficient Landscape Education

The City of San José, the Bay Area Water Supply & Conservation Agency (BAWSCA), South Bay Green Gardens, and the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) are offering free water efficient landscape education classes. Learn about drought tolerant plants, water efficient irrigation practices, and sustainable landscape techniques. Registration is required.
