There are many ways to pay your Municipal Water System water bill:

  • Pay bills online: To pay online, or sign up for automatic or recurring payments, use E-Bill Express. By following the link, you will leave the City of San José website. Have your customer and account number from your bill statement ready.
  • Pay bills by phone: To pay your bill by phone, 24 hours a day, call (866) 551-5253.
  • Other payment options: To pay by mail, in person, or other options.
  • Late fees: A late fee of $10.00 or 10%, whichever is greater, is applied when the payment is received after the due date on the bill statement. For more information, visit our Pay My Utility Bill webpage.
