The South Plaza, formerly known as the Bamboo Courtyard, is located on the southern edge of City Hall, bordered by the Council Wing to the west, the Tower to the east, and the curved face of the battered wall to the north. The total area of the space is 5,867 square feet.

The South Plaza is an ideal space for a casual event, where guests can dine at modern picnic tables.

Capacity

The South Plaza can hold a maximum of 300 people. City Hall does not combine capacity of facilities and does not allow events that exceed capacity. An emergency exit path must be maintained in this area; consult with the City Event Manager for details.

Fees

Each area of the Plaza costs $125.00 per hour plus associated fees.
