Rent Registry Data

Owners of rent-stabilized apartments in San Jose update the occupancy information for each of their apartments in the Rent Registry on an annual basis. The Rent Registry allows the City's Rent Stabilization Program to monitor changes in tenancy and rents, and track allowable rent increases.

Using current rental information entered by landlords into the Rent Registry, the Rent Stabilization Program has created two data maps. The first map shows the number of rent-stabilized apartments in each ZIP code, based on the number of bedrooms in each apartment. The second map shows the number of rent-stabilized owner-occupied apartments in each ZIP code.

Hover over each ZIP code for detailed information.
