El Paseo de Saratoga
This mixed-use signature project sits at the western corner of the existing El Paseo de Saratoga Shopping Center and a neighboring parcel across the street at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Lawrence Expressway.
Earlier this year, the property owner filed an application to alter the previously approved project in order to ensure that the planned Whole Foods Market can be constructed in a timely manner. This modification application was approved at a Director’s Hearing on November 29, 2023. Plans for the remainder of the reconfigured project were submitted and are currently undergoing staff review. This newest set of revisions affects buildings 1, 2, and 4, and reduces the total number of homes in the project to 867 (including a 120-room senior residential care facility).
