Graffiti must be removed by the property owner. You may want to obtain a vandalism report for an insurance claim before removal. You can file an online vandalism report using the San Jose Police Crime Reporting Service
If you believe the graffiti may be Hate or Gang related, its recommended to report it to Police before removal, for tracking and enforcement purposes. Call (408) 277-8900 (or 911 if it is a crime in progress.)
