San Jose has a large inventory of interpretive signs installed along the Guadalupe River, Los Gatos Creek and Albertson Parkway trail systems. Interpretive information helps trail visitors better understand the city's history, riverside ecology or other subject matter. Signage found within the Guadalupe River Park (Highway 280 to Highway 101) is often found on elaborative sign displays that add to the visual interest.
