Meeting Purpose: 

To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at 945 W Julian St & 379 N Morrison Ave. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

Proposed project{s):

A General Plan Diagram Amendment (GP22-008) to amend the land use designation from Mixed Use Commercial to Transit Residential, a General Plan Text Amendment to amend the The Alameda Urban Village Plan to add the Transit Residential land use designation and to change the height diagram maximum height from 55’ to 85’ for these properties, and a Conforming Rezoning (C22-023) to change the zoning district from LI Light Industrial to TR Transit Residential on two properties on an approximately 0.46-gross acre site.
