Meeting Purpose: To describe the proposed Zoning Code updates, and to obtain community input on the proposed Zoning Code updates. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the required Zoning Code updates.
Proposed project: Zoning Code Update (File No. PP24-004) to amend the City of San José Zoning Ordinance to expand the definition of emergency residential shelters, update the specific use regulations for emergency shelters, and add emergency shelters as an allowed use in zoning districts that allow for residential, including mixed use.
