Meeting Purpose:  To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at 1190 Hillsdale Avenue. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart on page 4 of this Agenda.

 

Proposed Project: Special Use Permit (File No. SP24-002) to allow the demolition of a 9,505-square-foot vacant commercial building and the removal of one ordinance-size tree for the construction of an eight-story, 100% affordable residential project consisting of 161 units, including one manager’s unit, two levels of structured parking providing 121 spaces, and a request for a state Density Bonus law incentive for private open space and two waivers for common open space and building stepbacks, on an approximately 0.81-gross-acre lot.
