Addendum to the Downtown Strategy 2040 Final EIR

Project description
The applicant proposes construction of three mixed-use towers (A, B and C) and associated below-grade parking. The three existing buildings and surface parking lot on the 420 South Second Street and the existing apartment building on the 420 South Third Street would be demolished.
Tower A and Tower B would collectively provide 306 residential units and approximately 3,082 square feet of commercial space. Tower A would be 20 stories, approximately 269,565 square feet in size and approximately 240 feet high. Tower B would be 22 stories, approximately 322,910 square feet in size and approximately 263 feet high. The ground floors of both Tower A and Tower B would include commercial space, as well as a lobby/leasing office, mail room, bicycle parking, and an electrical room, and floors 2 through 20 would be residential. Towers A and B would each include a roof deck with indoor and outdoor patio spaces and photovoltaic panels.
Tower C would include 168 residential units and 3,000 square feet of commercial uses. Tower C would be 22 stories, approximately 292,766 square feet in size and approximately 263 feet high. The ground floor would
include main lobby and café, common area, mail room, a back-of-house area, and an emergency
generator enclosure and electrical room, and floors 2 through 22 residential. Tower C would include a roof deck with indoor and outdoor patio spaces and photovoltaic panels.
