The applicant proposes to amend the General Plan land use designation of the site from
‘Public/Quasi-Public’ to ‘Light Industrial.’ The City of San José 2040 General Plan currently designates the
project site as ‘Public/Quasi-Public’ and the San José Zoning Ordinance zones the site ‘R-1-8.’

There is no physical development associated with the General Plan Amendment proposed at this time. Future development projects consistent with this land use designation will be required to obtain planning approvals and undergo project specific CEQA clearance at that time.

LOCATION

The approximately 1.1-gross acre project site is located at the northeastern corner of Lawrence
Expressway and Doyle Road in the City of San José, in Santa Clara, California.
