Pleasant Hills Golf Course Redevelopment
This is now the webpage for the Pleasant Hills Golf Course Vision; the prior website at pleasanthillsvision.org redirects to this page.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Pleasant Hills Golf Course site consists of 115 acres in east San José that was developed as a golf course in 1960. The course closed in 2004 and has been used intermittently for grazing. The site is now being proposed for residential and commercial development.
Before considering a development proposal, the City of San José wants to hear from residents, business owners, and community members about their ideas for the site. In February 2024, the City began a community engagement and visioning process that will continue through August 2024 — learn more at the Vision & Public Meetings page. The City will use the Guiding Principles that emerge from this community-centered planning process to evaluate the development proposal that will be submitted by the developer team.
