Meet the Primes is a FREE in-person event which provides opportunities for general contractors, who are responsible for overseeing constructions project, to showcase their companies by hosting a table and meeting with other contractors to build relationships. This event is a great opportunity for small and local business construction contractors to interact with the general contracting community and help build working relationships.

The objective of this event is to provide opportunities for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), and local businesses to:

• Meet with prime contractors in San José.
• Learn about requirements for doing business with Prime firms.
• Learn about upcoming contracting opportunities and how to prepare.
• Find out how to break through entry barriers.

The City of San José is planning on hosting this event on a yearly basis with the next event slated in early 2025.
