Edenvale and Sylvandale Schools Safety Project
Project Description
The Edenvale and Sylvandale Schools Safety Project improves traffic safety around Edenvale Elementary, Sylvandale Middle, and Rocketship Spark Schools. This project improves:
- Safety for people who walk, roll, or bike
- Enhances walkability and accessibility in reaching all three schools
Safety improvements include:
- Quick-build curb extensions with paint and delineators
- High-visibility crosswalks
These improvements can help drivers reduce their turning speeds. They also help people who cross the street be more visible to people driving.
