In 2022, 670 people were killed or injured in speeding-related collisions. The Department of Transportation is trying to change that. In 2015, we adopted Vision Zero, which is a commitment to reduce and eventually eliminate traffic deaths.

As one of many strategies, Vision Zero San José has launched a citywide campaign. The goal of this campaign is to spread the word about the impact of speeding and actions you can take to make our streets safer.
