Meeting Purpose: To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located on 802 S. 1st Street. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.
Proposed project{s): General Plan Amendment and Planned Development Rezoning (File No. GP20-004/GPT20-004/C20-007) to change the General Plan land use designation from Mixed-Use Neighborhood and Mixed-use Commercial to Transit Residential and General Plan Text Amendment to change the text in the Martha Garden Specific Plan to allow a Planned Development Rezoning from Commercial Neighborhood CN and Commercial Pedestrian CP, to a Planned Development A(PD) Zoning District to allow a six-story, 246-unit residential development with approximately 4,662 square-feet of ground-floor commercial and 76 parking spaces on approximately a 1.2-gross acre site.
