Meeting Purpose: To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, the environmental review process, and to obtain community input on the project located on the southeast corner of Union Avenue and Camden Avenue (14200 Union Avenue). Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

File No. Cambrian_37: Annexation of two unincorporated parcels totaling 18.13 acres from the County of Santa Clara into the City of San Jose.
File No. PDC17-040: Planned Development Pre-zoning from unincorporated to CN(PD) Planned Development Zoning District.
File No. PD20-007: Planned Development Permit to allow the demolition of 168,460 sf of existing commercial strip mall and surface parking lot, the removal of 5 ordinance-sized trees, and the construction of a mixed-use project including the following:
- Building 1 - 53,750 sf of retail/restaurant use on the ground floor and 305 multifamily residential units on upper floors
- Building 2 - 229 hotel rooms and 4,610 sf of commercial use
- Building 3 - 154,680 square feet of assisted living
- 25 townhouse residential units and 48 single-family homes
- 7.1 acres of public open space
- 98 surface parking spaces and two levels of underground parking for a total of 1,469 parking spaces.
