Meeting Purpose:  To present information and receive community input on the City-initiated General Plan Amendment request to change the General Plan Land Use/Transportation Diagram from Mixed Use Neighborhood to Urban Residential.  Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

Proposed Project:  A City-initiated General Plan Amendment request to change the General Plan Land Use/Transportation Diagram from Mixed Use Neighborhood to Urban Residential.  A specific development project is not proposed at this time.   This action would facilitate construction of up to 563 affordable housing units on an approximately 5.93 gross acre site.
