Meeting Purpose:  To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at (Southeast corner of McEvoy Street and Dupont Street) 244 McEvoy Street. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

Proposed project: Proposed Planned Development Rezoning (File No. PDC20-020) from the Light Industrial, Heavy Industrial and Industrial Park Zoning Districts to the (R-M) Planned Development Zoning District. Planned Development Permit (File No. PD20-011) to allow the demolition of 64,800 square feet of existing industrial buildings, the removal of 26 ordinance-size trees and 30 non-ordinance size trees for the construction of 689 (including 375 affordable) multi-family residential apartment units with 4,000 square feet of commercial, and a concession under state density bonus laws to reduce the amount of vehicle parking spaces. Vesting Tentative Map (File No. PT20-036) to combine six existing lots into two lots on an approximately 5.4-gross acre sites
