Proposed General Plan Amendment and Conforming Rezoning, on the northeast corner of the intersection of Doyle Road and Lawrence Expressway, Community Meeting, Project No. GP22-004, C22-105 ,& ER23-055

Meeting Purpose:  To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at northeast corner of the intersection of Lawrence Expressway and Doyle Road. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.

Proposed projects: A privately-initiated General Plan Amendment (GP22-004) to change the Envision San José 2040 General Plan land use designation from Public/Quasi-Public to Light Industrial and a Conforming Rezoning (C22-015) to change the Zoning District from R-1-8 Single-Family Residence to LI Light Industrial on an approximately 1.1-gross-acre site.
