In providing independent, reliable, accurate, and timely information to the City Council, the general public, and other stakeholders, our office has helped save tax dollars, increase revenues, and improve the management of City programs. Additionally, our independent reviews have been important, objective information sources for the City Council, City Administration, and the general public.

Savings: Over the years, our office has played an integral role in preserving the City's fiscal resources. On average, for every $1 of audit costs, we have identified about $2 in cost savings and/or increased revenues.
