Biography for Toni Taber

San Jose City Clerk

Appointed City Clerk in 2013 by the City Council, Toni Taber earned her Master Municipal Clerk designation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and is an active member of the California Municipal Clerks Association and the Municipal Management Association of Northern California.  Taber has over 20 years of Municipal Clerk experience.

Taber has served on multiple committees over the years including the League of California Cities' Administrative Services Committee, and the Community and Economic Development Policy Committee, and conference planning committees.  She earned her Master's Degree in English (Literature) from California State University in Sacramento. Taber is married with four children.
