Nonprofit CAPACITY BUILDING NOFA – RELEASED SEPTEMBER 15, 2023
The City of San José Housing Department invites nonprofit organizations to submit proposals for capacity building related to community development programming, with an emphasis on residential anti-displacement work. The goal is to help community-based organizations play more substantial roles in preserving their communities and to expand the network of these organizations.

The City of San José Housing Department invites organizations to submit proposals for affordable housing acquisition and rehabilitation. The funds are intended for qualified housing organizations to purchase unsubsidized multifamily rental properties that are currently occupied by low- and moderate-income households in San José, complete needed rehabilitation on the properties, and convert into deed-restricted affordable housing.
