Meeting Purpose: To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located on the west side of South Winchester Boulevard approximately 100 feet north of Olin Avenue at 395 S. Winchester Blvd. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart below.
Proposed project:
Conforming Zoning (C19-045) to rezone the site from CG Commercial General to CP Commercial Pedestrian Zoning District on an approximately 0.32-gross acre site.
Special Use Permit (SP19-031) to allow the demolition of an existing 4,420 sf retail building, the removal of two ordinance-size trees, and the construction of a five-story mixed used building with 6,200 sf of commercial use, 16 residential units, and two levels of underground parking.
