Meeting Purpose: To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at 1271 & 1279 East Julian Street. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart on page 4 of this Agenda.
Proposed Project: Site Development Permit (File No. H22-034) to allow the demolition of two single-family houses and the removal of 29 trees (9 ordinance-size), for the construction of a seven-story, 140-unit residential building including 14 affordable units with a density bonus and an incentive for a reduction of required private open space, and a Tentative Map (File No. T22-033) to merge two lots and subdivide into 140 residential condominiums, on an approximately 0.97-gross-acre site.
