Proposed Special Use Permit for 2165 The Alameda, Community Meeting, Project Nos. SP24-009 & ER24-046

Meeting Purpose:  To describe the applicant’s proposed project, the City’s review process, and to obtain community input on the project located at 2165 The Alameda. Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the permit process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart on page 4 of this Agenda.

Proposed Project: Special Use Permit (File No. SP24-009) to allow the removal of 10 trees, including four ordinance-size trees, for the construction of a seven-story, 100% affordable residential project consisting of 174 units, with 120 parking spaces provided underground and at grade using automated stackers, and subject to the state Density Bonus Law, on an approximately 0.55-gross-acre vacant lot in The Alameda (West) Urban Village.
