As noted on our Opportunity Housing webpage, public discussion of the Opportunity Housing concept began when the City Council directed Planning staff  to include the concept of Opportunity Housing as a topic of discussion with the General Plan 4-Year Review Task Force.

The next step is for decision-makers to consider whether to continue with exploring Opportunity Housing; here the scheduled meetings for that conversation:

Meeting focus: Planning staff will present an overview of the implications of Senate Bills 9 and 10 and how these new state laws must be implemented and how they affect the City's current process to consider Opportunity Housing.
