Berryessa BART Urban Village Plan, Conforming Rezonings, and Hillside Conforming Rezonings

City-initiated General Plan Amendment for the adoption of the Berryessa BART Urban Village Plan (BBUV), including changes to General Plan land use designations for properties within the boundaries of the Urban Village as shown on the Urban Village land use plan; and City-initiated Conforming Rezoning (C21-001) of properties within the East District area of the BBUV boundary and six hillside properties proposed to be rezoned to Open Space for conformance with Senate Bill SB 1333.
LOCATION
The 270-acre Berryessa BART Urban Village (BBUV) project site is located in the general area between US Highway 101, Interstate 680, and Interstate 880. More specifically, the 270-acre BBUV Plan boundaries are generally bounded by Shore Drive to the north, Lundy Avenue to the east, Coyote Creek to the west, and Mabury Road to the south. The Hillside Conforming Rezonings are located on six hillside properties are in various locations east and south of the Urban Services Line, including the East Foothills of San José on Sierra Road, on Miracle Mountain Drive north of the Boulder Ridge Golf Club, and in South San José on Casa Loma Road (see attached Initial Study for site locations).
