North San Pedro Studios NEPA Draft EA/FONSI

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) the City of San Jose has issued a Notice of Availability (NOA) for a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA)/Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) that assesses the potential environmental impacts of the proposed North San Pedro Studio affordable housing development project.

Location & Project Description

The North San Pedro Studios, will be located on approximately 0.73 acres of three parcels (APNs 259-23-027 and 016 and 259-51-006), located at the intersection of Bassett and Terraine Streets in the North San Pedro area of downtown San José. The proposed project consists of the construction of a 6-story affordable housing development consisting of 118 studio units, 16 one-bedroom units, and 1 two-bedroom manager’s unit.

HACSC will be providing Section 8 housing assistance to North San Pedro Studios in the form of HUD-VASH Project-Based Vouchers (PBVs) for 49 units designated for homeless and chronically homeless veterans and their families, and Section 8 PBVs for 60 units for disabled individuals and families.
