A Special Use Permit to allow the demolition of the existing residential structures, including a residence eligible for City Landmark status, warehouse and garage, and to allow the construction of a mixed-use project with up to 1,780 square feet of commercial space and 230 dwelling units, and to allow the removal of 28 ordinance-sized trees on an approximately 2.09-gross acre site.

The NEPA comment period on the Finding of No Significant Impact-Request for Release of Funds (FONSI-RROF) is through March 5, 2021. Please see the NEPA Environmental Assessment in the project documents below.
The CEQA EIR was certified and the project was approved by the City Council on April 28, 2020. Subsequent to the approval, the project applicant requested NEPA review because the project would received HUD funds.
