Fees that Support Parkland Development
- Establish a transparent method to determine current land values to calculate park impact fees
- Create legally defensible geographic boundaries where collected park impact in-lieu fees can be spent
- Align park fee calculations with the Development Fee Framework (currently being processed by the Office of Economic Development)
- Update the types of credits that can be apply towards the overall parkland obligation (i.e. Private Recreation Credits and Affordable Housing)
- Potentially establish a 'parks' commercial impact fee; and
- Align these changes with the General Plan and ActivateSJ
